Blessing for Bread
Braided challah bread is a traditional element to every Erev Shabbat meal and provides us the opportunity to bless God for what He has given to mankind. Vine of David has combined the traditional HaMotzi blessing before bread with the blessing used by the early believing community found in the Didache. Follow along and learn to sing this blessing in Hebrew. English and transliteration are also provided.
