Translation is an attempt to bridge the gap between the source and the reader. Most translations seek to accomplish this by presenting the text in a way that makes it seem more familiar to the reader. In contrast, the Delitzsch Hebrew Gospels attempts to draw the reader into the world of the Gospels.
